Under its agriculture business, Ichigo participates in Miyazaki Prefecture’s Local Food Project (LFP) and donates via Miyazaki’s furusato nozei (hometown tax) corporate program. Miyazaki’s LFP aims to revitalize food businesses via developing new products and services that maximizes the value of food resources and creating new businesses via collaborations within the food and agriculture industries, thus solving social issues and driving economic profit.
Ichigo not only supports the production and sales of local farmers, but also supports farm-to-table initiatives and drives food self-sufficiency.
