Fraudulent emails claiming to be from Ichigo employees have been sent recently from the domain “lchigo.gr.jp” (with a lower case “L” substituted for the lower case “i” in our actual domain name). These emails are NOT from Ichigo employees. If you receive an email claiming to be from an Ichigo employee from the above domain or any other domain that is not “ichigo.gr.jp,” it is fraudulent. Please delete the email and/or forward its contents to Ichigo via the following form: https://www.ichigo.gr.jp/en/contact/.

As of 3 p.m., October 1, 2018, there have been no injuries or material damages at Ichigo assets due to the typhoon. Should injuries or damages emerge, Ichigo will promptly disclose the details.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to all those affected by last week’s earthquake in Hokkaido and our wishes for the earliest possible recovery.
We have confirmed that there was no damage at any of Ichigo’s solar power plants in Hokkaido. With grid connections having been re-established by the Hokkaido Electric Power Company, Ichigo’s plants are all now fully operational and producing solar power as normal.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to all those affected by today’s earthquake in Hokkaido and our wishes for the earliest possible recovery.
As of 11:45 a.m., there have been no identified injuries or material damages at Ichigo real estate assets in Hokkaido. With respect to Ichigo’s solar power plants, in the event of an electrical grid outage, Ichigo’s plants are automatically taken offline as a safety measure, so the Hokkaido plants are offline. As soon as Hokkaido’s electrical grid has been restored, Ichigo will confirm the plants’ operating status and report the details.

The live camera feeds and power production data for the below solar power plants will be temporarily unavailable on our website during an upgrade to a cloud-based monitoring system.

We have confirmed onsite that there was no damage at the Ichigo Kure Yasuuracho Nakahata ECO Power Plant (which we had taken offline due to blocked road access preventing an onsite inspection). Having brought it back online, the plant is now fully operational and producing solar power as normal.

The current operating conditions of the two Ichigo solar power plants in deeply affected areas of Hiroshima are as below:
Ichigo Higashi-Hiroshima Saijocho Taguchi ECO Power Plant
Due to a communications line being down, power production data is not registering on Ichigo's website, but the plant is fully operational and producing solar power as normal. The communications line recovery is scheduled for tomorrow, July 12.
Ichigo Kure Yasuuracho Nakahata ECO Power Plant
Ichigo's realtime monitoring system indicates that the plant is undamaged and capable of being fully operational. However, because the roads in the area are blocked and we have yet to do a full onsite system check, we have kept the plant offline. Ichigo's first priority is for the speediest possible recovery of lifeline services for the individuals and communities who have experienced this deep tragedy. Once access to the area becomes available, we will resume normal solar power production. We will announce the details as soon as they are available.
