Located in southeastern Hokkaido, the Ichigo Akkeshi Shirahama ECO Power Plant is built on a former soil disposal site that is leased from the town of Akkeshi. With 2,944 individual solar panels and a total output of 0.80MW, the plant provides power for 270 households.
